Scott specializes in providing professional restructuring advice to troubled companies and senior lenders in distressed environments working closely with senior management and corporate stakeholders.  His restructuring experience includes instituting detailed business planning, identifying and implementing cost reduction and performance improvement opportunities, negotiating financial restructurings and managing asset dispositions.

He earned BS in Finance from University of Arizona and is a candidate for the Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor designation from AIRA. Prior to joining Catalyst in June 2006, Scott spent six years with Alvarez & Marsal, Inc. in Phoenix and Houston and three years with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Scott’s representative advisory and interim senior management roles providing clients with operational reorganization and financial restructuring strategies, include:

• COO (de-facto), Restaurant Holding Company, 2003 to 2005 Managing 3 separate restaurant chains totaling $250 million in revenue.
• Responsible advisor, Airplane Parts Manufacturer, 2002 to 2003 wind-down of liquidating Chapter 11, sale of inventory and other assets.
• Responsible advisor, Automotive Parts Manufacturer, 2001 to 2002 restructuring of reorganizing Chapter 11, recapitalization and operating improvements.
